April 1: The Seattle Aquarium will host a sneak preview of A Sea Change.  follows retired educator and concerned grandfather Sven Huseby back to stunning ancestral sites (Norway, Alaska the Pacific Northwest) where he finds cutting-edge ocean research underway. His journey of self-discovery brings adventure, surprise and revelation to the hard science of acidification.

—In the Great Hall of the Seattle Aquarium at 6:30 p.m. This not-yet-released movie brings to light the urgency of “the other CO2 problem” — ocean acidification.

April 2: Kevin Wilhelm, founder of Sustainable Business Consulting and an active member of Business Leaders for Climate Solutions, has just released his new book, Return on Sustainability: How Business Can Increase Profitability & Address Climate Change in an Uncertain Economy. It’s a market-based call to action demonstrating how businesses can turn climate risk into an opportunity. Climate Solutions is joining the Seattle Climate Partnership and K&L Gates to host the book’s Seattle launch:

April 29: Entrepreneur Jonathan Rose will address the Urban Land Institute on Green Infrastructure: Thinking Beyond the Grid.  Jonathan Rose’ company redeveloped the Vance Building (where we have our Seattle offices) and has a portfolio of green properties around the country. Details here.

Apr 22: ZINO Green Investment Forum in Seattle will showcase local green companies as they compete for a minimum $50K fund.
